James P. Allison Institute 4th Annual Scientific Symposium | Immune Set Points: Stress, Wellness, and System Control
This annual in-person symposium is one of the most distinguished gatherings in cancer immunology and immunotherapy research. The event convenes more than 1,500 of the world’s foremost scientists, clinicians, research trainees, journal editors and innovators at the forefront of cancer science to share groundbreaking discoveries, foster collaboration and advance the frontiers of science.
This year the symposium examines the immune set points: the regulatory thresholds that determine when the immune system activates, maintains equilibrium or returns to baseline. Understanding how these thresholds are established, how they shift under physiological stress and how they may be deliberately modulated holds significant implications for the next generation of immunotherapies.
The scientific program is organized around a single conceptual axis, from cellular stress responses to whole-system regulation, and is presented across three sessions: Decoding the Set Point, Holding the Line, and Resetting the System. Together they convene leading investigators to address the mechanisms that govern immune regulation and their translational potential.
