Studio Scholars with Brian Greene

#DYK the Houston Foodbank is the largest foodbank in the world AND distributes more than two hundred million dollars of food each year to over 800,000 recipients.

Since becoming president and CEO of the Houston Foodbank in 2005, Brian Greene has led the nonprofit to an ultimate peak with a fivefold increase in distribution and was deemed one of the 50 most influential nonprofit leaders in the U.S. in the Nonprofit Times in 2021.

President and CEO of the Houston Foodbank, Brian Greene, will join Studio Scholars on October 23rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to share his experience leading the largest food bank in the world. A job that cannot be easy, Green will share strategies on how our local foodbank maximizes the number of distributions to better the lives of the community through its partnerships, volunteers, and expansion plan to take on the increasing demand for household food and basic needs.
