TMC Helix Park Book Club with Blue Willow Bookshop

This novel follows Valerie Gillis, a seasoned hiker who sets out on the Appalachian Trail in Maine after the trauma of working as a nurse with COVID-19 patients, only to vanish without a trace. As Maine State Game Warden Beverly leads the search on the ground and a sharp-minded retiree named Lena investigates from afar, unsettling clues begin to surface. It soon becomes clear that Valerie’s disappearance may not be an accident.
